FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  1. 1
What makes your coverage better than what other companies offer?
Screenwriters don't want vague scores and generalities. They want to know exactly where the opportunities are and how to fix them. I offer 5-12 pages of coverage notes that address every issue in order to elevate the material to its highest potential.
  2. 2
What issues do you address in coverage?
Everything. Your coverage analysis will break down strengths and opportunities in characterization, dialogue, plot, pacing, grammar, punctuation, formatting, marketability, logline and much more!
  3. 3
How do I know if I need a rewrite or a polish?
It depends on the number of opportunities. If your script is failing to get encouraging results when submitting to contests, companies, or industry connections, you may need a rewrite. Polishes are generally done when a script is "nearly there" and needs a basic "clean-up."
  4. 4
If I hire you for a rewrite or polish does that mean I have to share writing credit with you?
That's entirely up to you. I have no problem with ghost-writing.
  5. 5
What if I just need a synopsis, logline or tagline for my script?
I can certainly accommodate you. I have years of experience creating those for clients in addition to my own projects.
  6. 6
If I hire you how will I receive the material?
All materials will be sent electronically. Screenplays will arrive to your inbox in both PDF and Final Draft. If you have requested a synopsis or series bible the material will be sent in both PDF and Word.
  7. 7
Do I have to pay prior to submitting my material to you?
No. However, payment must be made prior to release of the material. Paypal is the preferred method but check by post will be allowed.
  8. 8
    Who does your screenplay posters?
Mark Moorer of Pitcher Point Productions. He is a well-versed and incredibly talented industry pro that I am proud to work with on a regular basis. For more information on Mark Moorer, or to contact him directly, you may visit www.pitcherpointfilms.com.

    What is your turnaround time?
I am very upfront about my schedule and will communicate the time frame in which I can complete your project. Coverage typically has a 2-day turnaround. Polishes can take up to 1 week and rewrites can take up to 2 weeks.
